Adrian Rhodes
I also looked at the sound specialist, Adrian Rhodes, is a specialist sound editor, or sound mixer. He has been responsible for the sound on a large number of live-action films as well as Aardman productions. His job is to create sounds rather then to record them. He is not usually involved in the dialogue recordings, but comes in after about half the film has been shot and edited into a rough cut. At that stage he goes through e material with the editor and the director, and then he can start to build up the sound effects that will be needed.
Helen garrard
Helen garrard has edited many films for Aardman. Her first task on a film is to supervise the soundtrack. She would be given a storyboard, and a script if there is dialogue in the film, and then she goes to the dialogue recording.
,
David Twohy,
The reason why I would like to do A/V is the director David Twohy, the director of the film pitch black, and its sequel The Chronicles of Riddick as well as such films as The Fugitive starring Harrison Ford.
In the Chronicles of Riddick, Twohy integrated, sound and visual effects with matte painted backgrounds throughout the film, this is a great example of what technology can do in the film industry in this era.
Hayao Miyazaki
Hayao Miyazaki is the prominent director of many popular animated feature films. He is also the co-founder of Studio Ghibli, an animation studio and production company.
Seeing such films and understanding the time and amount of effort put into producing them, is a great inspiration to me, and by knowing what it takes to create these pieces of work, makes watching them completely different because you appreciate the amount of work that had to be achieved to produce this film that may only last one hour.
By the end of my level two studies I would love to be able to produce a piece of work similar to what Hayao Miyazaki creates and directs, even if my piece only lasted for a few minutes I would be satisfied.

Julieus assignment
MODULE TITLE: Successful Practise and Principles
MODULE NUMBER: MMPR10108
MODULE LEADER: JULIUS AYODEJI
For this essay I have to identify a number of specific aims and objectives that I wish to achieve by the conclusion of my Level Two study.
Towards the end of Term Three I will be expected to choose a pathway as my course of study throughout Level Two.
So far on the course I have had the chance to experience a range of different media types and I fill that what I would most like to study throughout level two would be A/V, Audiovisual is the term to refer to media work with both a sound and visual component, Films and television shows are examples of audiovisual presentations.
The very first assignment of year one was to produce a short film using a technique called stop motion. Stop motion or frame by frame animation is the general term for an animation technique which makes a physically manipulated object appear to move on its own. The object is moved by extremely small amounts between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames are played as a continuous sequence.
I had also previously experimented with A/V in college, and produced at least four short films, one that also involved stop motion for the final product.
I have always been fascinated with films especially animated films from the animé genre, and my favourite animé artist and director would have to be the created of such films as howls moving castle and spirited away, Hayao Miyazaki.
For me to achieve this I would have to have a lot of drawings that could be used for the animation, video effects and lighting , as well as audio, sound effects, voices and music integrated together to a precise level that the sound and video was in sync without any gaps or cuts in the video footage,or no time delays in the footage.
But before any of this could happen I will have to get started with writing so interesting a detailed stories of what the video footages could be about.
identities part1n2 evaluation
For this essay I have to prepare a written evaluation of my identities package – project one and two, in order for this essay to be successful I need to take into consideration and discuss a number of different issues ranging from the research and my personal interpretation on self identity and my understanding of what is meant by the term, to my findings, as well as my likes and dislikes towards to finished products of the two projects.
I started of my work by doing numerous nights of research into the term self identity, I travelled into different aspects of what the term could mean, and other interpretations of the term,a lot of questions arose when considering what self identity is, some of these questions were ones that only others could answer and some were questions that no one could answer, these were questions left up to a single persons views, through this research I concluded that the term self identity is the mental and conceptual understanding and persistent regard that sentient beings hold for their own existence. In other words, it is the sum total of a being's knowledge and understanding of his or her self.
Some of the questions I asked myself after I came to an understanding of what the term meant were questions such as: I know what my own opinions on myself is, but is that really how others perceive you?
I could easily answer this question saying such answers as I'm kind, friendly, fun and calm, but like the question interprets, is that really how other people perceive me. This is a questions that's answer changes from one person to the next, there is no right or wrong answer, just a persons own personal opinion.
For part one of this assignment I had to explore the concepts of self identity through designing and modelling an avatar and 3D computer generated environment for it.
The word avatar in computing is a computer generated representation of a user, or to make it simpler it is an on-line virtual body, a representation of what oneself looks like or what they would ideally want to look like, in a virtual world this can easily be done, but with virtual would there are still questions, one question that bothers me the most is: Whoever you are interacting with are they really who the say they are?
The modelling and animating part of this assignment, I knew would be time consuming, so in excel I created a time scheme to break my work down into different days. The first two weeks I would solo base my work on the research into 3-D and the different techniques that could be used. The second week I based on my primary design ideas for my character and its environment. I wanted to add a bit of a backbone to the character, so in my sketchbook I decided to conjure up a history of the character with its likes, dislikes, attitudes and so on.
For part 2 of this assignment my aim is to explore how interactive design can be used to reflect yourself and professional identity. You will be required to design and create an on-line box/showcase that contains 5 different interactive “objects” that collectively tells a story about who you are.
I started of this assignment yet again with the research part, I looked at a few different interactive websites and how they develop their identity through there brand, how their logo works with the design of their website layout, and how the different age ranges of a site, can be identified through the use of colour, font type and font sizing. In my design I wanted it to be easy to navigate around and easy to find the information out about me but at the same time, I wanted the audience to be entertained and there to be quite a lot of information on the interface to keep the audience entertained while on it, the colour scheme would have to be something that was an interpretation of my nature, and the type of person that I am. I needed to also design a logo for the interface, and I wanted that to stand out but also fit in with the design of the site, the font and colour of the logo had to be similar to the colours I had used in the interface but I needed to still make the logo stand out with perhaps a white boarder or background to make it stand out .
For part of assignment one we had to spend some time in a virtual world and a diary on what we found out. We was allowed to study any virtual world we knew, but the one proposed by a lecturer was Second Life.
In my experience I found that second life was slightly dull and in order to gain acknowledgement in it, you needed real money traded into virtual money to achieve anything. You couldn't build a property unless you brought land with the virtual money which you only had because you had traded in real world something a student like myself doesn't have a lot of.
After Second Life I searched on the internet for another virtual world and I found THERE.com, another virtual world that relies on money, but there was more to do when you didn't have any money to spend, there were also events that you could participate in such as hover board racing, go kart racing, and even throwing events.
If I could have studied a virtual world such as world of war craft, I feel that I would have enjoyed it better, I think its the idea of being able to go about a virtual world, killing creatures and having goals in the game that make playing virtual world more entertaining and fun.
needs to be continued......
