What Is An Avatar

An avatar can take different visual form and doesn’t necessarily a have to take a 3D form that looks like human being. For this project what is important is that the 3D model/ object that become the Avatar should reflect something about your self identity
In Hindu philosophy, an avatar most commonly refers to the incarnation or a "second life" from which a person can change their way of life.

An Avatar of a virtual world, is a self representation of what the user wants to be like, the way they dress, behave, act etc.

a Avatar can be anything from a human being to a cyber organism like a robot or a mecha to anything like a pet animal dog.

while on second life i came across someone who had turned themself completely into a mecha. there could be lots of reasons while they would want there avatar to look lik this. it could be simple because they like mechas, it could be the fact that they feel safe incased in a metal outer shell that cant be pentrated.













This is me, and from looking at the way the avatar is designed i have started to design my own character in 3ds max
