Film Idea: In His Shoes

danny is 19 years old. he has already studied one year at hammersmith university, but he realised that wasnt what he wanted to do, so before the start of his first year he got transferred to nottingham trent university.

EXT - TRAIN STATION - DAY

Danny steps of the train and takes a deep breathe in.
he signs

DANNY
"arrrhhhh"

VOICE-OVER
" i wonder what this new uni is going to be like"

he picks up his bag from the platform, and starts to walk towards the exit, he stops off at a little corner shop and asks for directions, he thanks the shop owner, leaves and walks to the middle of town

a girl in town shouts out tony and waves

VOICE-OVER
"is she waving at me?"

danny looks puzzled, looks around him but there is no one else about, he casually smiles at this young lady infront of him

LADY
" i didnt know you was back in town already tony"

DANNY
" i believe you have got the wrong guy hun, my names danny"

the young lady giggles

LADY
" you always make me laugh with your little jokes, how was your summer"

danny getting dragged into the conversation casually replies

DANNY
"yea wasnt too bad hun got to see my family. what about you?"

thinking to himself

DANNY
"what am i doing?"

LADY
"yea mine was..."

danny interrupts

DANNY
" sorry hun but ive got to go... we will chat another time"

LADY
"thats ok... see you in class next week tony"

the young lady give him a kiss on the cheek and starts to walk off

danny still puzzled thinks to himself

DANNY
"i think im going to like this uni"

and he walks of with a grin on his face.

he locates his uni building, and gingerly walks in looking for room 106 where he has a meeting with his next teachers

on entering the room two teachers are already sitting in there waiting.

DANNY
" hi im here for a ..."

MALE TEACHER
" hi ya tony... what can i do for you... we got an interview with a new student in a minute.. so this will have ot be quick"

DANNY
"im here for the interview. my name is danny..."

FEMALE TEACHER
"tony you havent changed at all.. still cracking jokes i see... wel if you can wait around for 20 minutes we can talk then if its important"
